Fall is upon us, and as we all know, autumn marks the beginning of new-car season. Brand-spanking new models get the opportunity to make their debut in the automotive world, while others are lucky enough to continue their journey into the next generation. But other vehicles are hitting the end of the assembly line.

Power rises to 523bhp from the standard XKR's 503bhp and torque swells to an earth-rippling 516lb ft.The new Jaguar XKR Goodwood Special: the lowdownWe were at the Whitley design centre on an, ahem, top-secret feature for a future issue of CAR Magazine, when design director Ian Callum and chief engineering type Mike Cross arrived unannounced in the XKR Goodwood Special. Arash AF10

Arash Motors is the latest in a succession of recently established low-volume manufacturers, and has unveiled their first car, the AF10, at the British Motor Show in London. Since the company's conception in March this year, the team has been working continuously on the AF10, with styling done in-house by Arash Farboud Designs. The company is based in Cambridge, UK, with testing of the bespoke chassis done at the nearby Millbrooke circuit.
